Awarded for service in France, Belgium, Holland or Germany between 6 June 1944 and 8 May 1945. Personnel qualifying for this Star who also qualified for the Atlantic Star or Air Crew Europe Star received the first earned Star and a bar for the second which would be worn on the ribbon.
